Same time, same place

Oh dear, I'm another year older,
But hopefully, wiser and bolder.
Time does seem to run
When we're having fun.
This time last year
The things I held dear
Seem to have strangely faded by the year.
This time this year
I had better decide what truly brings me cheer
And get rid of things that merely clog up space
And eat up my days.
For this time next year
I want to make sure
I have in place things that make my journey here
A pleasure for you, for me, and all I hold dear.
Cheers to a beautiful brand new year!
